September is National Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month, and The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center is providing support to thyroid cancer patients and their families with the new Waterbury Area ThyCa Support Group.
Starting September 12, the Leever Cancer Center will offer a second Brave at Heart support group for breast cancer patients and survivors. The group will meet on Wednesday afternoons.
The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center paid tribute to the memory of Dr. P, who was one of the driving forces behind the founding of the Leever Center, with a plaque commemorating his life and work.
