The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center (HLRCC) received a meaningful donation from Post University, made in honor of a former patient whose family experienced care at HLRCC firsthand.

Representatives from HLRCC visited the Post University campus to receive the donation. Nicole Fiorucci, Assistant Director of the Center for Academic Success at Post University, shared how deeply her family was impacted by the care her father received.

“My dad and I both felt the passion each and every team member has for their job and their patients,” said Fiorucci. “They went above and beyond to make sure my dad didn’t have unnecessary stress during his fight. Though he is no longer with us, we’re forever grateful for the care he received. I hope our donation can make a difference for current patients, just as you made a difference for our family.”

“We are truly honored and humbled by this donation,” said Deborah Parkinson, HLRCC Interim Executive Director/Operations Director. “Gifts like this help us continue providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients and their families. We are grateful to Post University for their generosity and for celebrating the legacy of someone who meant so much to them.”

The donation will support programs and services benefiting patients undergoing cancer treatment at HLRCC.
